Xron ST climbing a vertical pipe
Compact Crawler Robot

Xron ST

An ultra-compact, high-manoeuvrability crawler robot for inspection of complex surfaces and dense piping. Magnetic wheels and a multi-joint body let it traverse extreme curvatures in any orientation — vertical, overhead, around 8″ pipes — delivering UT, EMAT, PAUT and visual inspection where access has always been the limit.

Mobility

Adhere. Climb. Inspect.

Magnetic wheels deliver high-strength adhesion to ferromagnetic surfaces, enabling reliable travel on coated and high-temperature materials. Combined with a multi-joint body, Xron ST traverses extreme curvatures in any orientation — verticals, inverts, and tight bends — while maintaining stable operation.

  • 120 kgf magnetic attachment force on bare wheels
  • Coated-wheel option for delicate or finished surfaces
  • Operates through coatings up to 2 mm
  • 30° angle turning — navigates dense piping networks

Real-time Operation

See every angle. Control every detail.

Four onboard cameras stream simultaneously to the operator's remote — front stereo, a 4K full-color night-vision gimbal, probe-view, and rear navigation. 2,500-lumen adjustable lighting makes low-light environments inspectable without repositioning.

Quad Live Video

Probe, RealSense, Rear, Gimbal — 4 simultaneous HD streams.

360° Gimbal Control

Inspect every detail without repositioning the robot.

Live Thickness Graph

Instant UT readings with on-screen graph visualization.

3D Point-Cloud Nav

Real-time SLAM visualization with return-to-home.

Modular NDT Payloads

One platform. Every test you need.

Sensor packages are fully modular — UT, EMAT, DFT, and PAUT configurations all run on the same crawler platform with quick-connect couplant and transducer.

View Payloads
01

UT — Ultrasonic Testing

Untethered single-point UT with onboard couplant delivery, up to 1 mm coating.

02

EMAT

Electromagnetic acoustic transducer — couplant-free measurement through 2 mm coatings.

03

PAUT

Phased array UT — tethered to gauge, 30 m max range. Through 1 mm coatings.

04

DFT & Visual

Dry film thickness and high-resolution visual inspection (GVI/CVI) with stereo flaw sizing.

Software Ecosystem

From inspection to final report — in one workflow.

Xron ST is supported by AveSoft, a proprietary platform for real-time robot operation, data capture, and post-inspection analysis. Designed for both field operators and inspectors, it delivers intuitive control, live visualization, and streamlined reporting.
