NDT Inspection Drone
Skyron
The Skyron 2 is a large-scale industrial drone engineered for contact-based inspections in the most challenging environments. It is optimized for precision Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT), and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) in GPS-denied areas. Modular power and proprietary magnetic attachment enable consistent performance across diverse inspection tasks.

3D LiDAR-SLAM Assisted Flight
Skyron 2's GNC (Guidance, Navigation, Control) system uses real-time 3D LiDAR-SLAM to build and localize within a point cloud map. This enables stable, repeatable flight in environments that would blind conventional drones — inside storage tanks, under bridges, and within enclosed industrial structures.
Key Capabilities
- Stable positional hold in GPS and compass-denied spaces
- Real-time 3D environment mapping
- Stable hover in confined spaces without GPS
- Repeatable flight paths for systematic inspections
Modular NDT Payloads
Advanced robotic arms for diverse measurement tasks, featuring integrated cameras, specialized end effectors, precise motion control, and quick-connect interchangeability.

Delta Arm
Scanning rotary arm for 2"×2" UT multi-point scans, up to 25 scans per engagement.

SPARM Arm
Rotary arm with surface-prep brush and UT measurement capabilities.

Long Arm
Highly maneuverable 3-pivot arm for hard-to-reach areas, including stiffeners and side frames.

Lite Arm
Single-point rotary arm with guided attachment, for surfaces with curvature > 2.5"

Surface Preparation
High-torque, high-RPM brush that automatically adjusts pressure and distance for consistent cleaning. Stability is maintained via proprietary switchable permanent magnets, providing firm adhesion to rough surfaces, flat plates, and pipes down to 8″ in diameter.
Tethered or Battery Powered
Switch between ground-supplied tethered power for unlimited endurance or a smart clickable battery system for high-mobility untethered operations — chosen per mission.

Smart Tether System
Unlimited flight duration
- Continuous ground-supplied power
- Supports heavier payloads (Delta Arm, SPARM)
- Ultralight micro-cable with automated winder

Solid-State Smart Battery
Fully untethered operation
- Single-motion click-release for rapid field swaps
- Maximum maneuverability for visual inspection flights
- No ground power infrastructure required

Software & Data Reporting
An intelligent autonomy and inspection platform that transforms robotic data into actionable insights. Featuring AI-based analysis, real-time monitoring, advanced navigation, and automated reporting with integrated asset visualization.
Key Capabilities
- Real-Time Monitoring & Visualization
- Advanced Navigation & Autonomy
- Automated Report Generation
- Data Tagging & Asset Mapping
